40 years later, the #transamericapyramid finally lives up to its promise, thanks to the vision of @michaelshvo and the refresh by @fosterandpartners with its elegant and relaxed vibe. So great to see the skeleton expressed throughout, the diagonal views through the ground floor, and refined lighting.
One detail that does wonders: the frameless transom glass creates visual flow from outside-In and a continuous reading of the structure through space. The flat blade mullion minimally captures the operable doors and windows below. A real treat to walk by now.
